Who we are

Aqarat is a property-management platform used by real-estate offices and owners to manage buildings, units, leases and invoices. The service runs at https://aqarat-admin.com.

Tenant and owner records entered by a subscriber belong to that subscriber; we store and process them on their behalf and do not use them for our own purposes.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email, mobile number, and a hashed password (never stored as text and not recoverable).
• The business data you enter: buildings, units, tenants, owners, leases, invoices, payments, expenses, maintenance and viewing requests, documents and photos.
• Signatures drawn on contracts, if you use that feature.
• Limited operational data: error logs and sign-in times, used to diagnose faults and protect accounts.

Signing in with Google

If you sign in with Google we receive only your name and your verified email address. We neither request nor receive access to your Gmail, files, contacts, or any other Google service.

The address identifies your account here and creates it on first sign-in. We never store or see your Google password.

Why we collect it

• To run the service you subscribed to and show you your data.
• To send notifications and reminders about your account (an invoice due, a lease ending, a maintenance request).
• To secure accounts and prevent unauthorised use.
• For billing and subscription management.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or share your data for advertising. Ever.

We use service providers who process data on our behalf only as needed: hosting and the database, and an outbound email service for notifications. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

Retention and deletion

Your data is kept while your account exists. When an organisation is deleted, its associated records are removed from the database.

Read notifications are deleted automatically after two days, unread ones after thirty.

Your rights

• Access and export your data (CSV export is available inside the platform).
• Correct anything inaccurate.
• Request deletion of your account and its data.
• Withdraw consent for notification emails from your account settings.

Security

Traffic is encrypted over HTTPS and passwords are stored hashed with bcrypt. Each organisation's data is isolated, so no subscriber can see another's records.

No system is perfectly secure, but we will tell you without undue delay if a breach affects your data.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you signed in and one to remember your language. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the last-updated date appears at the top of this page. We will email you about any material change.
